On new years eve, I met an extra yet ordinary bloke. He is a taxi driver whom is returning back to India for his wedding.
Everyone calls him “Lucky” for a reason. That’s because on his left arm, he had 6 fingers. Two thumbs to be exact.
“I had the option to have it remove. But why would I?”
“God gave me an extra fingers and I should feel blessed and not feel any different.”
I was astonished, I have never ever interact with anyone physically so different, but yet he never felt compelled to change to be “normal” in this society.
Then I have tell myself for my new year’s resolution. Be happy, and be the way I am.
All the time and world I need.
It’s January, named after Janus- the God of new beginning. With 2 face, one looking towards the future, and one looking back at the past.
It is quite the month for us to reflect the past for this new year.
Zzz… webhost got hijacked by hackers.
I think it’s your shyness and awkwardness that makes you preeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetty xoxo
When I send them gifts and souvenirs, they were surprised.
but little do they know, that their regular random “How r u?”, “When r u coming back?” sms and messages constantly surprises me to no end.
Never in my life I get so much X’mas presents and got for others.
The gifts is not the actual items, but the mysteries that induces imagination and fantasy which lies within the box before being unwrapped.
So I have to go work on Christmas, and then the day after. For a couple of hours.
Now I see why my friends are so pissed off.
